On April 13 2018, the Department for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the Central Project Management Agency carried out training for project implementers.
Lithuania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has allocated EUR 20, 000 for humanitarian aid in Yemen. The funds will be transferred to the United Nations Yemen Humanitarian Fund.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania has allocated EUR 55, 000 for humanitarian aid in Ukraine, of which EUR 20, 000 will be transferred to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and EUR 35, 000 to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania allocated €20 000 in humanitarian aid for Palestinian refugees. The contribution will be transferred to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
On January 31, Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting to examine project concepts and applications presented for funding in 2018 in the framework of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme.
