Prospects for further developing cooperation in the field of road, rail and air transport safety have been discussed.
"For the future we have foreseen two more initiatives in Shirak,” – said Lithuanian Ambassador Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė.
"Projects of this kind are crucial in fighting climate change, strengthening energy independence, as well as, supporting development of rural areas" - said Lithuanian Ambassador I. Stanytė-Toločkienė.
The UN estimates that since the beginning of the conflict in 2014 more than 13 thousand people were killed and 3,4 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance.
Ambassador Mr. D. Junevičius and the CEO of the NPO Afrika Tikkun Mr. A. Meulenberg signed an agreement for the implementation of the development cooperation project.
